Accompanying Persons Program

An accompanying persons program has been created to allow partners and family of GA2023 delegates the opportunity to explore Sydney and its surrounds as well as attending the GA2023 social program. Information is outlined HERE. Delegates can book an accompanying persons program registration via the online registration form. To adjust your RSVP, purchase additional tickets or add any dietary requirements, please contact the registration team at registration@icomosga2023.org 

The accompanying persons registrations includes:

GA2023 Opening Ceremony & Reception

Fusing ancient and modernist influences, and situated on a site sacred to the Gadigal people for thousands of years, the sculptural elegance of the Sydney Opera House has made it one of the symbols of twentieth century architecture. On 28 June 2007, the Sydney Opera House was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is the youngest cultural site to ever be included on the World Heritage List.

This four-hour coach tour is a perfect introduction for international visitors, designed to provide an orientation of the city and see some of the city’s key sights. Greater Blue Mountains Day Trip

The Greater Blue Mountains was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000.

The unique plants and animals that live here relate an extraordinary story of the evolution of Australia’s unique eucalypt vegetation and its associated communities of plants and animals. It is an area of breathtaking views, rugged tablelands, sheer cliffs, deep inaccessible valleys and swamps. The Greater Blue Mountains is a place of immense cultural value to the Darug, Darkinjung, Gundungarra, Tharawal, Wonnarua, and Wiradjuri people.
